New to the Jeep world.

I recently purchased a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0. It's all stock minus the tires.

I want to start modifying it to do some more off-roading, but I have no idea where to start. Can you guys suggest where to start? I currently only do very light off road trails but I want to do some harder trails that probably require more than a stock Jeep.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Welcome! I'd say the best advice I could give is to make sure you have a solid running vehicle first before you start modifying. Then read, read, and read some more. Try learning as much as you can about your rig, this is a great site to start. After, make a plan about how you want to use your xj and what you want it built for. It'll save you time and money down the road. Finally, post pictures and have lots of fun. Now get out there!
