Dang, we never had cool technology like that when I was a kid.
After wheeling we would call our friend's on the phone, no cell phones, and play space invaders on the Atari set.
The idea of making a music video to a wheeling video???? now that dude would definitely have all the chicks in my day.

Then there was the unity spotlights. It wasn't that hard but a WARNING! first thing to be aware of is: In the case of a roll over your pillers are the main roof suport for the front of the roof. So with that being said, I bought two of the Unity spotlights ( got mine on EBay for 100.00) off an old Crown vic. Then I needed the bracket for the cherokee. When I bought mine at NAPA they cost 60.00 a piece and you will need the drill angle tool that comes with the light bracket. Then locate where you want the light to sit on the piller and mount the bracket. Then you put the drill angle tool in to the bracket. Drill easy! It takes a 1/2" drill bit and you have wires running down inside the pillers. I used masking tape to pull the wires tight to one side so the bit would clear. Let the drill do the work. And make sure that you put the interior trim back on before you drill threw the interior wall of the piller for a nice factory look.

(The Jeep emblems)
When I bought the spot lights, they were missing the Unity emblem. I just so happened to have two sets of keys and I had bought Jeep key rings for them and YUP! You got it! I cut them off the ring and ground off the little nubs where it hooked on to the leather and siliconed them on

Thanks, there nice to have on those dark rainy nights and in the woods. Also handy when someone needs help changing a tire or when you just want to see what’s over there.
Lol Thanks. Good man!
That’s great! I'm sure you will love it! Any questions or anything I can do to help, feel free to contact me.
Thanks, that’s Sweet! Nice job! The black looks great on the white, and it was fun to do not to mention changes the look a lot.
Thanks, It is a big commitment but well worth it in my opinion. The people in SAR are like an extended family, even if you never met before. Also it’s a great learning and teaching tool for us adults as well as for kids. My son(91laredo) took me by surprise, sold his truck and bought an XJ and joined my unit about two years ago. He also brought four of his graduating class with him and there all doing a great job! a few of them even calls me dad.
We have our little SAR XJ work party’s in the driveway and the neighbors look at us like we’re crazy, but we have fun!

NEXT UP: TJ Fender Flares Installed!

First I Searched CL for a set that I thought would match the color the best (*Black).
I didn’t want to buy painted ones because there just going to get scratched up.
I found these for $60 bucks.

Then I spent a lot of time looking at it trying to decide just how I wanted them to be positioned.

TOOK OFF MY FLARES AND DID THE CUT AND FOLD ON THE REAR
