Some of the small first plans would be as follows

---Bedliner a crap load underneath now while it is a good and solid with no rust.
---Bedliner the bottom around the Rockers.
---Bedliner the flares.
---One of my Cubby box's most likely a 12" version so I can make the plans for doing them since I get alot of requests for them.
---Towing Package
---Anywhere from a 2" to 4.5" lift pending what I find and what price. I wanna change the rear leafs completely.
---15x8 wheels with 4" or 3.75" back spacing. 31x10.50 tires not sure what brand.
---Lots of little custom things. Got a lot of ideas to think about trying.
---Much more to come. It really never ends

That is a starting list. It's gonna be a pretty basic build compared to most on here. I just don't have the time, money and patience to go all out. Wish I could though.

Very nice find.

I don't see many two doors much less a 5 speed and red to top it off. All three options are pretty much non existent around here.

Yes I think red two doors are pretty scarce all around. I have always liked the red cherokees. This thing is so smooth and true on the highway it makes me dread doing the lift and stuff on it. I have driven lot's of Jeeps and vehicles in general but this one is one of the smoothest and quietest I have been in. Was cruising in 5th gear yesterday coming back home on the open road and eased up to 100 mph and it was nothing but smooth. Couldn't believe it. It's very easy to speed in this one if your not watching the speedo. Love it.

Anyhoo, I am so glad to have a cherokee again. I was only without one for about a month and half. My last cherokee was rotting out way too fast and had many problems so I traded it off for a nice Honda prelude with a turbo on it. It was my chance to get something out of my old run down XJ. Then the long hard road came to finding one like I wanted and that was a 2door 5-speed. Long hard road that paid off. This one is like driving a brand new one. I'm in Love LoL.

I will keep this updated as I can. Gotta get some work lined up fast. It broke me so it's time to recoup. Jeep-It's a way of life!

Well the biggest downfall was that it was not clean. Inside at least. It was nasty inside. Spent hours cleaning to get it to looking good. The guy that had it before me never cleaned it. Man it was bad. I am liking the 2door much better than my old 99 4 door I had. Seems to be more room overall.

I gotta fix both the power windows. The weak plastic pieces on them are both broke I am guessing. I gotta fix them both. I guess the added weight of the bigger glass. Anyone know of the best way to fix them?

Well I got over 350 miles out of the first tank of gas so it got about 17mpg mixed driving. Can't complain.

Both of the windows don't work. The motors work just nothings happens and you can move the window up and down by hand. What the hell do I do here? I can't figure out how they work.

Well it appears the pvc type tubing that the spiral stuff is in has came loose on both windows. I will not be able to find replacements at a junk yard around here either. Gotta be a 97+ 2door to work from what I can tell. Damnit.

Yes the two doors are different than the 4 doors. I am going to see if I can make a fix for them both. I think I can. Dread it though. Just my luck.

bedliner wont seal the metal properly, my advice would be to prep the bottom of the jeep, spray it with chassis saver 3 coats, then bedliner over that for protection and ease of washing, this will seal the metal properly, and the bedliner will provide the protection. I reccomend monstaliner by the same comapny as chassis saver.

Follow the same instructions for the top side of the floor and you wont have rust
