Alright man i think this is a bad idea. 40's on 5 lug axles...... Looks like no plate on the unit body rails. Then i looks like you have 2 inch square tube that is not braced. That being said its your rig and do with it what you want. Not near as bad as the mud rigs at the last mud run this year but..... dam good luck

all the 2" tubing is being cut out, havnt decided what im doing with the front, but if u look at the pics in the hatch the unibodey is all reinforced, also i dont like the axels i have but its all i got for now, the spider gears are welded and its not a dd or a rock crawler so i hope they can last about a year before they blow up

i did some more welding and reinforcing since this pic but havn't takin any more

This looks like someone elses build I went through who put 1tons or something on his jeep like overnight and some 44s cant remember his user name.

What are your steering plans? You cant expect to use the stock steering with 40s.

i havnt figured that out yet, i know with some adjustment the stock steering pump (not sure what its actualy called) will work but i would like to go with a hydrolic ram but i cant aford it, so any sugestions would be nice, this yj, with the same tires was with the stock pump and 44/ford 9 inch

Not to be a dick but that thing doesnt look no where near structurally sound or safe at all.
At least thats how its looking in the pictures. I only paid $450 for mine, complete vehicle. Put a new crank sensor and some gas in her and she was on the road again. Just figure you might be safer and in better shape if you could snag a deal like that.

I see were your coming from, but its not going any were how it is, when it is ready to go it will have a full roll cage and the rest of the unibody will be reinforced, also it will have 4 point harnesses, saftey is being taken care of
