Also I backed into a snowbank and hit the low part of the tailpipe and....ripped the exhaust hanger right out of the frame rail, taking the exhaust/gas tank heat shield with it and now that piece is just barely hanging on by one bolt. Also made me realize how much rust was where the exhaust hanger bolts to the frame. Now I have a nice little hole😂👍👌

It's a bummer sinking so much cash into a jee with high miles on original engine and trans, just to find more rust issues and have death wobble come back 3 months after sinking hundreds of dollars into the front end :/ seriously considering getting a new daily after I save up over the summer, but who knows.

That's what made me get a new daily. I was putting 200 a month in maintenance. And thought. Well that's just a car payment! So got a truck in dec

Exactly haha. Like really $1500 in front end and emissions parts 3 months ago and the check engine light is back on and I still get very occasional death wobble haha. Then to find that rust...it's like a losing battle. This summer the track bar failed as I was driving (scary stuff) and that was $300 to buy, ship, and install. 2 years ago the radiator went and so did $400 of other stuff in he engine bay (can't even remember). Last year the AC pump froze up, so it's just an idler pulley for now. So I have no ac, no power locks, power steering that only works when rpms are over 1200, a frame hole, sagging headliner, minor loose front steering...ugh haha but She's got over 208,000 miles too.

I don't have much money right now though. I need to save up again like last summer, but budget better. I got caught up in college freedom, not to mention bought the best of everything for supplies(I'm a freshman). So like glass bowls, a microwave, brand new flatscreen tv, metal silverware, brand name food, even Kitchen Aid can opener. 50-100 mile joy rides almost daily. $15 trips to McDonald's by night. I blew over a grand in a month AFTER buying all my original supplies, just on random food, gas, shopping and whatever

I love my jeep but I use like 6-7 gallons if I drive 100 mile round trip home every other weekend for some reason or another. I'd love a subaru. Lower profile too, not a cop and attention magnet like the jeep lol. Family friends have commented on my driving "skills" to my parents before lol. Oh how about a pic to spice things up?

Friend went through first. He has better tired but 1 inch lower lift than I do. He got stuck and I pulled him out. I figured he didn't hit it hard enough and I got stuck enough that we needed an f350 to pull me out. Buddy's xj wasn't heavy enough. I was spinning water with all 4 tires, completely bottomed out lol
