Haha sweet another Socal guy!
If your looking for factory skids, one of my local yards has 3-4 XJ's with skids..theres the gas tank, front & transfer skid. Prices are pretty good as well!
If your up for the trip I'd help you pull them. I'm in victorville.

Awsome!
Whats your plans for lifting? I see 2", and I've got some parts that we can install over here! Should get you 2+" out of them! Its always fun to help another jeeper!
We can build you a bastard pack out of my old HD leafs and I've got my coils that are unknown but give 1.5" of lift and they worked great. I've also got some V8 GC coils.
I say buy some new leaf spring clips and maybe new isolators and then lets get it together!
And lock the front first! Easier on tires and better for climbing and crawling! Should be able to get a Spartan for around $220-240..I payed close to $220 for mine!

I also think you'll need to regear! I would do 4.10s for a few reasons....you can get the front gears from a 4cyl and then just buy new rears...it'll be cheaper and factory gears will be plenty strong!

Okay added 33's and removed the rear sway bar. Will be cutting/bending the fenders.
Yeah I look into that.........Actually its not that bad with 33's and my stock gearing

Thanks I sold my wrangler because I needed a bigger car but still wanted to keep the 2 door look. I'm very happy with it.

Little Update
On the passenger side I will be removing 1" of the paint to match the driver side. But overall on normal city driving I have 0 rubbing. will see when I take it off roading.
