MY JEEP
Finally, I am starting my build thread for my 98 cherokee sport. I bought it in the summer of 2010 when I was 15. Completely stock when bought. The a/c and heat didn't work, but since then, I have replaced the a/c accumulator, evaporator, orifice tube, and pretty much every part that the air conditioning system requires to work properly, we finally found out that my compressor won't kick on and decided not to spit out any more money on my a/c because I wouldn't use it anyway. I would use my heat though, so after taking apart my dash 3 times to fix random things in and around my hvac box, replacing heater Core and hoses, and fixing my vacuum leak, I finally got my heat working and became a dash remover expert. I don't have any pictures of it when I got it because my phone crashed but below is a current picture of it. I will update later on modifications/fixes that I have done over the past year and a half.

Okay.... So after getting my jeep, and fixing the heat, I approached the next problem: no speakers for the rear, and I need to rewire the front speakers. I decided to just upgrade everything and got a new headunit, speakers, and eventually a sub. I made a custom box and it worked for about 6 months until it started rattling so I thought I had an air leak but couldn't find it. So I purchased a new box and that didn't help, then finally I found out that I needed to glue down the dust cover. And that fixed it. The tweeters on the speakers stuck out too far so I had to cut the door panel where the speakers grill is and screw the new speaker grills in. Then I took the rear soundboard speaker grills and cut a hole in the middle of them for the tweeter and screwed the new grills on them. I rewired all of the speakers and installed the head unit and amplifier, and it sounds great!

Just picked up a new subwoofer. I'll be installing it when I get home. Also did the diy alignment the other day to prepare for my new tires, the toe in looks correct but I'm thinking about just getting it done at my local offroad store for safe measures. If I get new lower control arms, will my alignment need to be adjusted again?

Well, I might have figured out the a/c. I jumped the low pressure switch on, and the compressor kicked on, squealed for a bit, then shut off. I read that this means that I need refrigerant to keep the compressor to stay running. So I will probably try that in the next week or two. The squealing might be the compressor bearing so I will probably need to replace that too.

Another thing I added after the lift were two offroad lights from harbor freight and I installed the switch right next to the rear Window wiper switch.

Picked up a single 31/10. 5/r15 tire the other day to have as a full size spare when my 31's arrive. A little rough on one side but not bad for 5$. It's a liberator a/t.

Custom fit Seat Covers were added last summer. They are mesh. They are holding up very good. Not sure why the pictures are sideways but you get the idea.
