I drove off road today a little, nothing major just through the pasture to feed the hogs... the only thing I need to remember now that I have my new tires is to keep my arm in when driving through wet cow dung!

Got some bed liner painted around fenders and bottom today, I used rustolem bed liner from Walmart.
Next will be a roof rack, then snorkle, I also have some oil leaks and rust that need to be delt with pretty soon.
Thanks everyone for your comments and for sharing your knowledge, until a couple of weeks ago I knew nothing about jeeps, all of the things I have been doing so far have been things I have learned from this forum!

Added a roof rach today from Pep boys, normally I fab this stuff myself..... but with a 2.5 year and 2 week old daughters, and a 13 year old son in wrestling, and hunting season..... time is hard to come by!

I think it will work fine. I will be camping next weekend and I am sure I Will be stacking it full of stuff.... as long as it don't fly off the roof while I am goinging down the hyway I'll be happy.

Looking good.Your jeep is the same year as mine.looks almost the same.I paid 1k ,it was a i owner had 160k when i got it.18 mo later this is it.i have wheeled this thing pretty hard,and it is the dd gets 15 around town.all togather 1 have about 3k in it.we did the bedliner on the sides and hood,found the frt and tank skid on ebay,the bully bar with lites also,the rack and kc on were free,this is a low budget build, going to do the s10 tube door in a few weeks again got those out of junk yard for 30 for 2 complete carriers,planning to do aj slidders ,frt locker,an 33's hopelully next head.have fun with it .we r going on a run on the 23 here in VA, is a med trail.good ride ,hopefully won't bend it up 2 bad....
