well after reading all of these other build threads, I thought I might do my own. I started with this 2003 cbr600rr. which is one of the motorcycles I had. I sold the other to get to Washington. heres some pics of my streetfighter build I sold for 500 bux.

Attachment 352201 Attachment 352202 Attachment 352203 heres the vw I bought after I sold the bike. Attachment 352204 Attachment 352205 traded it for this Honda civic sedan. Attachment 352206 Attachment 352207 Attachment 352208 then traded the civic for this. Attachment 352209 Attachment 352210 so far I have done a few small upgrades. I put 35s on it, cut the fenders, and redid a lot of the wiring. I had no break lights, license plate light, windshield wipers didn't work, and was missing a quarter window on the passenger front door. it already has a 4.5 in lift, with an upgraded radiator. Attachment 352211 Attachment 352212 Attachment 352213 Attachment 352214 here soon I will be putting a 8.25 rear axle with stock posi locker in, with new leafs and a set of 3 in add a leafs. and im having a armored top hat roof rack being made with a basket on it. full length. thanks for looking. any suggestions help |
Is that a stanced hellaflush 240 I see?
|
yes that would be. its my cousins baby. got a lot into that thing from what ive seen.
|
lol out of all the vehicles I posted, the only noticed one was the Nissan, that I don't even own, lol.
|
well I figured out that I have an np242. so I will be doing a hack and tap sye. found one for a decent price.
http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/feat...bound-offroad/ also found this sweet write up on how to do it. http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoSYEconversion.htm as soon as I have the money I will be doing this. |
so I put some new leafs on with rubicon add-a-leafs, and adjusted the front spacers. having a roof rack built for me and a stinger, sliders, and rear bumper made as well. have an 8.25 im buying off a guy for 150. and then I still gotta do the hack and tap.
im glad I replaced the leafs. both pins were seared off lol. cant believe I made it through the 102 at evans and a lot more wheeling with them like that. im sure they have been seared for a while. lol. crazy. also, I had custom u-bolts made at a nearby shop. gitts spring. they make them while you wait. and they give you hardened steel washers and extended nuts to go with it. only paid 34 bux. |

Build is looking good man. How does it handle with the 4.5in and spacers? Does the steering wheel try and find center when you let it go? Mine's on a 4.5in RE lift and 2" spacers. My caster was all jacked up(even after I adjusted my UCA's) and it wouldn't drive straight for $#!7. Pulled out the spacers and it drives so much better. Needs to get better so I'm trying to diagnose a few things still.
I'm just south of Olympia. Just wanted to stop by, say hey, and pick your brain. Good luck with the build, brotha! |
