supposedly you can grind a little off in the intake manifold where the header makes contact to make it fit...but I don't have any experience with that design...so don't take my word for it.

Finally washed the jeep up, got a few more pictures, and then before I even got to have any fun with the new tires, the movers came and loaded up all my stuff and my jeep to ship it to Arizona. I'm flying out monday...can't wait!
I am now officially single as of thursday, and it did not go over so well, so my buddy and I went to our offroad area/shooting range to blow off some steam...
and finally the movers and saying goodbye to my jeep for a couple weeks
Had to pull off the front bumper and tire carrier to get it to fit on the semi cuz it was too long with all my other stuff in there, plus like three other people's stuff cuz I didn't have nearly enough to fill the semi.

I have a 99 and bought the APN header. I had to grind quite a bit off the intake manifold to get everything to fit and was only able to dent the header a little bit for more clearance. If you can get it to work its the best setup because you have the 99+ intake manifold, and can also have a header. The 98 and older have the older intake manifolds and the 00 and 01 have crazy exhaust manifolds with 19 cats and o2 sensors lol.

Also Xjfanatic sweet build. How are you feeling about 36s on those axles? How did the 35s hold up with the lockers and gears? I just finished redoing everything on my truck and getting a Powertrax no slip after rausch creek in a few weeks. got 488s and 35" MTZ, i just dont wanna blow crap up lol.
I know these questions are asked a million times but the more input the better.
Thanks

I am pretty confident in the dana 30 for light throttle wheeling...these tires are pretty light for what they are and they are not that much of a change from the 35s...and it is just for the time being...axle swap in the near future depending on finances
More work is definitely on the way...the jeep is in transit right now being shipped from michigan to arizona...should be here on wednesday and then I will definitely be doing more work on it...axle swap is definitely in the works...just trying to decide which route to go
