Ok so I finally made it back from Moab and am trying to back into the swing of things, but that week was too much fun. I didn't want to leave, but the poor Jeep needed a break. I have quite a few photos so I'll post some of the best ones and try to give a few captions.
Day 1 of the official Jeep Safari my Jeep was in the shop getting repaired after I beat it up a bit much on Potato salad hill. We got to ride with a guy who had a JK on the 4 Wheel Parts Trail Ride on Behind the Rocks. It was cold, snowing, and miserable.
This was a sexy XJ that had a 44/9 axle set up and a four link coil rear.
Day 2 we did Metal Masher and Moab Rim with the rancho/dynomax buggies and a few friends. This was not an official safari event so we just went at our own pace and got to try a few obstacles. We did Moab Rim in the dark...wow that is terrifying at night. Very off camber trail that tilts you right towards the edge that dumps a few hundred feet right into the colorado river. Luckily no accidents on this trail.
Hitting golf ***** off the top of Moab Rim!!!!
All the rigs at the top of Moab Rim
Day 3 we had our corporate sponsored event for Rancho/Dynomax, BFGoodrich, and Bestop. This was a blast and we were the first group to do this trail in Area BFE called Dropkick. Needless to say it was an INTENSE trail like all in area BFE.
Day 4 and 5 were stuck at the spanish trails arena working at our booth. This was probably for the best as my Jeep is pretty well beat and in need of some TLC.
My best friend from high school came down to haul my Jeep up to Moab in his massive 6500
When all my coworkers found out he had that trailer, they talked him into hauling the rancho rig to each trail during the week. It didn't take much to talk him into it. Especially when they told him he could drive it.

Here is a summary of our trail day out at are BFE. The video really doesn't do the trail justice, but my rig is doing the pucker ridge obstacle at about 7:30 into the video. Hope you enjoy.

No...it is a rock hard 4x4 cage...was a pain to install, but looks really good now that its done and really made a difference in stiffening up the unibody
