So yah, picked this cherokee up just over a year ago but didn't start the rebuild till now. It didn't look to bad when I first got it, although I knew it needed some floor and body work. Aside from that everything else was good. A few pics to show how it was before.

I started tearing out the inside and wow was I surprised by how bad the floors have gotten. I got one heck of a job ahead of me lol More then I thought. But it's gotta get done. This is my only car and still currently driving it lol Hurray for climate in Canada lol

looks like a little bit of a project, but they always are. if you plan on offroading it. I suggest after you're done patching it or replacing the floor to bedline it so it doesn't rust even if it gets wet.

So yah, been quite some time since I last updated this. After a stupid long time working on this and getting new floors and rocker panels and backing plates and drinking lots of beer lol I finally got the floors done. This is what the inside looks like now. I coated the inside and the underneath with some spray on bedliner to seal everything up. I'm not happy with the quality of the stuff I used so I will probably be buying a couple cans of the real good stuff once I get some extra cash to give it that rough rugged look I was trying to go for.

Ahh. Looks good though. I still have carpet in both of mine. The other one smells like a swamp though.

Nice info, end result looks great !
Is the floor a single layer or double ?
How hard was it to pull seats/ carpeting and to re install ?

Thanks! Floor is single. Pulling the interior out was the easy part. Cutting out the rusted old metal and grinding everything down and then matching up the new pans was the hardest and longest part.

Cool, another task I will need to get rev'ed up for in the nearfuture .
