My 90 cherokee build-up Project GhostRider
I got my cherokee in august of 08. I had planned on lifting it as soon as I got it, but I ended up spending all my money just trying to get it to run right. Well, now since I have money for everything I guess I'll make a build thread. Parts on the way, or soon to be ordered:
Rubicon Express 4.5" Extreme duty Long Arm kit (ordered)
Rubicon express 4.5-5.5" Monotube shocks(ordered)
4-Cragar Black D-Window 15x8 with 4"BS(ordered, and got 2 in the mail today)
4 33x12.5R15 Kumho Road Venture M/T K71's(ordered)
Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Tie-rod kit(soon to be ordered)
Rubicon Express Steering Stabilizer(yet to be ordered)
I think that's all for right now. If I remember something else I'll post it. I'm gonna be building my one front and rear bumpers, hopefully tube doors, sliders, and re-inforcing the uni-body.
sorry no pics. and yes I know that LOL

Finally got some pics for you guys. This was about 2 1/2 months ago, I went out with my buddy and i was just messin around and flexin on rocks. Still looks like this right now. I have 29x8.50x15 tsl's in the front and 29x10.50x15 tsl sx's in the rear. Yeah, I know it was stupid to put these tires on at stock height. So, don't ask why I did it, I was young and dumb.

Are you going to cut and tuck the rear quarters? I'm planning to. My XJ has some bad rust back there. Iowa winters are hard on Jeep steel.

Yeah im gonna cut and fold the rear. Yeah pennsylvania is pretty harsh, they put calcium in the salt mix during winter. I was really surprised when I stripped my interior to only find 3-4 holes about the size of a half dollar or smaller.

I'm gonna build them in class. heres a pic of the front and rear bumpers my buddy drew up real quick. hes gonna build the front and im gonna do the rear.
The rear tire carrier is offset on purpose, for better rear visibility.
Those bumpers look nice, btw.

Oh yeah, and i didnt pick up the seats today, cause i get out of class at 410, and its a 20 min drive to get to the jy. they close at 5 and the zj that has them was t-boned. so the b-pillar is smashed up against the driver seat, and obviously thats the one I want the most lol gona see if I can bend the b-pillar out a little. or i might just wait till it warms up a little.
My lift is supposed to be here tomarrow. will definitely take some pics!
