Dude a trail rig like that would be sick! I have a friend with a 1992 2 door on D60's and 42's, locked both ends, 2 doors are sweet, I wish mine was a 2 door sometimes

And 2 Doors are pretty nice. Especially if you only haul 1 passenger. Lighter, easier to get into, and better visibility. I sometimes wish my 98 was a 2 Door, but then I remember all the times the rear doors have been a benefit.
The other day I was thinking... how cool would a H.O. Manual 2wd drift XJ be? always been kinda interested in drifting and the XJ would be something very different. Maybe in a few years ill buy another XJ for something like that.

Haha 2 doors are nice with one passenger. Any more than that and its a pain. I'm getting to the point where I wish I had a 4 door. But, then again, I love my 2 door and wouldnt get rid of it. Maybe my next one will be a 4 door so I can have both worlds.
Anyways, any progress on this or still planning on tearing it down for the MJ?

Fixed 4x4. Slid the thing over and flipped the vac housing upside down. When I was under there I found out it had a ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR. Heim joint on one end. Nothing special, but still really cool. Especially considering I only paid $400 for the whole thing.
Went to test the 4x4. Bald tires go me stuck. Rear slid to where I couldn't back up. Couldnt go forward.
So I got my dad and our LONG tow rope and hooked it to our Mercedes (1980 300D. Great car. 35 MPG. ) and went to pull it. At this time it decided to mess up AGAIN so we had to break the already broken steering coloum and start it. Pretty much the same way you would do it as stealing a car.
We got it started and well, I hooked the rope to the tow hooks on the front which I assumed were hooked to the frame.
I was wrong.
So... My bumper...
It falls off. It falls OFF. It falls the **** OFF!!!
****.
*******es hooked them DIRECTLY TO THE BUMPER.
After that it stumbled and cut off. Out of gas. ****.
So tomarrow I guess I will go and bring it back up to the house.
Still happy about the Track Bar though.

So this has been sitting with flat tires and no gas. Havent been messing with it. But today I decided to clean the interior and try and fix the seat. It turned into me tearing all the interior out. Has some rust but its not too bad. Especially for a 89.
