Well its an 88, and needs new coils, leafs, and shocks really bad. I dont exactly have the spare cash to start on a lift and tires yet, so i just wanted to get better stock height stuff so it will ride better back and forth to work. I got in touch with a guy that owns a shop that just does lifts on trucks and stuff, he hooked me up with a set of stock leafs and coils off a 95 xj for 80 bucks, still have great curve to them. I'll be putting those on soon as the paint is all done.
Custom front and rear bumpers, soon as my friend that's painting it gets his wire welder back from his other friend. I also plan on ripping up the carpet in just the rear back area and bed lining it. |
sounds good :)

great progress so far.

At first we got a color match for the gray mettalic, and taped off at the first pin stripe line. We have now decided that the match isnt close enough to look right horizontally across the jeep, so were just going to paint the lower quarters up to the same pin stripe line on the back of the jeep. No one will notice the change in color with those pin stripes there to break up the lines...
