hey thats a nice rig.....i'm all about the cheap jeeps
i would suggest either doing a homebrew redneck lift with T-bird coils and a bastard pack or picking up some 2" spacers and a 2.5" AAL (got mine for $110 shipped from Iron Rock Offroad).....yea i would go with 31-32" tires with the stock gears, for my mud machine i'm saving up for some carlisle 31x15.5x15 Ag Tires.....you should also think about welding up your rear diff if you do a lot of mudding through deep ****
keep up the good work

ya i can when i go back to my sisters where the jeep is currently sitting. all i did was cut the factory hose down significantly til it was a long 90 basically. then put the 2" pvc in with a coupler on it to make it bigger. tightened the hose clamp down as tight as it would go then filled the extra gap with silicone so nothings getting in there. its sealed good. snorkel counting the filter was about 30 bucks to make

put two recovery hooks on the front. they are bolted to the frame and then welded to the frame for extra protection.
then we fabbed up a light bar. took about 20 minutes but came out great IMO. we wired it so i can have two or 4 lights on at any time. its great. i bought two sets from harbor freight (thats like northern tool for those that dont know). they are 100 watt lights. and before any says why the cheapies, its a offroad/mud truck only and i think they came out good and they're functional. finished putting cover on snorkel too. enjoy!!

little more progress i did the other day just forgot to put the pictures in here.
first is a sound bar i got out of the junkyard. there was nothing in the jeep for music and when your at the mudhole you need tunes. came out pretty good IMO.
next is the cooler bracket we made so we can have "refreshments" with us when cruising the mud hold. (this is a non street legal jeep. no tag).

little update. took the jeep mudding a couple weeks ago and the steering stabilizer hit the oil pan causing it to dent up into the crank. made it sound like a thrown rod. well got that fixed. heres a picture of the hold it made. the good thing is i only lost the oil down to the add line.
here is the fixed pan. didnt want to spend 100 bucks on new one so i beat out the dent and welded a piece of 16 guage metal to it.
come to find out my shocks are completly blown. so today i started my 2" budget boost with rough country 9000 shocks(not really in budget but they are sweeeet.).
my shocks in the front were so bad that i could compress and decompress them by hand very easily.
here is two comparison pics. one of the new shock collapsed next to my stocks fully expanded and one with new shock expanded next to stocks. these are rated for up to 4" lift
installed pic. had to remove it though so i could put spacers on. didnt realize that.

I did my own snorkle too but i just bought flex tubing from wallmart and ran it through the fire wall above the fuse box. Then put a cone filter in a mini keg in the back by the c pillar. just another idea.
