Also took it wheeling for the first time the other day when it was pouring, made it pretty interesting. Don't have any pics but went through some mud and HUGE puddles (for a stock lift). It was fun
Next thing to do is the lift. Ill definitely be looking for the 30's

Yeah lol hopefully, I'll hit you up when my uncle and I do it. My parents wanna get me the kit now for Christmas so I'm fine with that and only having to buy rims and tires . It will get done over winter break
In the meantime, I'm gonna try and get some wheeling pics up this week

Thanks Biceps! As you know I wanted the 3 inch Rusty's lift but my parents wont go any higher than two inches, which I'm fine with. In a few weeks I'm going to order the Zone 2 inch kit with nitro shocks and a new steering stabilizer, then some 30" tires
Can anyone please recommend some inexpensive tire brands with a good amount of tread?
MSJeep, Thanks for the offer man! I just want to order everything together this time cause its my first major purchase
I'll get some more pics up tomorrow

I don't know if you've heard about them, but what they are is VERY high quality re-treads. They use the BFGoodrich tread pattern for some really aggressive tires, yet still Radial not bias-ply.
Ask anyone on this forum who has run them, they will recomend them to you.
Here is there website: https://www.treadwright.com/default.aspx.
The only problem you might encounter is what size you want.
They have 3 great styles for 31", but only 2 that aren't that great in 30"
Definitely check them out though, you can get about 4 tires shipped for like $450 to $500
Here's what one of their patterns looks like, same as BFG's, they call it the Guard Dog:

Yeah lol.
Thanks for the great inf o on treadwrights dustyeye! I've never heard of them before but they seem great! Unfortunately I would have to get the 30 in. tire because my parents will only let me go up 2 inches lol, but I will definitely take them into consideration. So far I have narrowed down tires to three different ones that I am interested in:
I can only recomend one tire that fits everything you want, inexpensive, good, and deep tread... Go with Treadwrights!

- General Grabber AT 2- I was looking into them after watching some sweet Baja races with their original grabber tire. People say these are almost like the BFG AT's. I'm definitely think I'm going to get these
- Definity Dakotas MT-Can pick these up at my local Pep Boys
- Treadwright Puma's- Look pretty cool, still thinking about them

Awesome. I just don't want to pay any more than I need to, even if it is a $20 dollar difference. It adds up lol. Now its just time to wait.
I'm going to take the Jeep out today, maybe a little offroading and I'll try and grab some pics too

I love my BFGs T/A KO All-Terrains. I have them siped as well and do a ton of road driving (Pavement Pounder). I wouldn't purchase any tires but a BFG Tire. My last set LT235/75/15 and now I have a set in 30x9.5x15.
I take my Jeep everywhere in Oregon and have encountered all types of weather (Rain, Sleet, Snow, Dirt, Gravel, Clay, etc.). My BFGs have never let me down. Quality is unsurpassed, the tread wire is hardly unnoticeable.
Anyway, whatever tire you go with i'm sure you'll be pleased. Good looking Jeep!

Nice! I just finished looking through your build thread and everything looks great. If I can find four used ones I'll try and get them, in the meantime I'll keep my eyes peeled lol. Thanks for the suggestion! I've heard that a lot of people are very happy with that tire

Its been a while since an update! I've been doing some little things to the Jeep, can't do much though cause of school and swimming. Today I went on my first adventure with my dad, found some spots on google maps lol. I'm hooked and so is he.
Here's some pics! We got nervous and left early because we didn't know if the cops were going to show up lol. Otherwise I would have gotten a lot more
Here's the first spot
Ooo
Hill! Its bigger than what the picture shows. My dad didn't want to drive up it though he thought I would break something lol Next time though!
Woodsy
Opening to second spot. It was what looked like an abandoned shale plant. Mad sketchy
As far as the eye can see
Duck
That's all for now, over the next few months the lift will be coming, then the wheels, then the tires lol.
