Ooo yeah haha I gotcha on that one. I think they just may let me get a two inch zone lift.

MSjeep, I think they would kill me if I got a four inch lift lol but thanks

Hey, George. Good luck with everything. Looks like you've got a really good, clean starting point. I'm sure whatever lift you choose will work out great.

Thanks Biceps! As you know I wanted the 3 inch Rusty's lift but my parents wont go any higher than two inches, which I'm fine with. In a few weeks I'm going to order the Zone 2 inch kit with nitro shocks and a new steering stabilizer, then some 30" tires

Can anyone please recommend some inexpensive tire brands with a good amount of tread?

MSJeep, Thanks for the offer man! I just want to order everything together this time cause its my first major purchase

I'll get some more pics up tomorrow

Its ok I just have them. Gotta sell them lol.

I.just pucked up a set of 4 super swamper thornbirds 31x11.50x15 for 80 bucks. He wanted 200 lol cash is king. and the tires.have.about 40% left which is.good for me.

I.recommend either.goodyear(cheap off road tire)or toyo, I have toyo on the wj and they rock.

Well, tonight I installed my new battery (old one crapped out). Here's some pictures. Black Betty lives

Old battery out

Old battery (looks new, right?)

11 year old positive connector, the negative was replaced a year ago, so I figured this was a good time to replace this one

Before a new connector went back on, my dad and I used some electrical appliance cleaner to clean off the wires, did wonders.

Shiny!

After all was said and done (cleaning, brushing, vacuuming the battery tray out), it was time for the new battery. All done.

Lift will definitely arrive late this September. In the meantime stay tuned!

Thanks! It seems sturdy. I dropped the Jeep off at the dealership tonight to have the disc brakes looked at tomorrow. One of my other threads talk about the front driver side caliper randomly locking up, so if both end up getting replaced tomorrow I will have pics!

In the meantime took her out tonight and she runs beautifully now that its getting cooler out.

Also stopped by Pep Boys to check out the Dakotas, and got the OK from my parents with buying them. They like the deep tread lol.
