thanks well i think instead of getting a 6 1/2 in lift i might buy a 8 in long arm from rustys offroad so what do you think it only 1900 for the whole kit so its not much more than a 6 so why not get it

You do not need 6.5" of lift on a Cherokee let alone 8".
Why do you think that you need that much?

Get rid of that POS snorkel. Its not functional and it looks horrid. There is a reason you got it so cheap.
You would be better off plumbing the intake into the cowl.
Have you or do you plan on doing anything else to waterproof your submarine?

What rear axle is under it?
What size tire do you plan on running?
What type of terrain will you be wheelin?
Is this your daily driver?

i took ur guys advice about the snorkel and got rid of it and the reason i want that much lift is so i dont get high center and dont have to worry about getting stuck as easy went today and got some sheet metal to replace the rusted hopefullly will have them in later tonight wil post pic going to buy some brand new rims and tire 33 but trying to fig out how iam going to make them thinking of doing spacer and a shakel lift any ideas i was told i could do some trimming and make them fit to make it more waterproof iam going to put slycone around the dis. and idk what iam going to do about the computer iam not planning on driving in alot of water just in the mud i just dont want to hydro lock the motor

lol well I'm yet to ever get high centered on anything with my 33's and 6" inch lift. I would imagine a 4" wouldn't high center much. I wheel some pretty crazy ****, and I don't think I've ever even came close. nice jeep though.

well now I know why you paid 800.

Take a look at my floor thread, itll give you an idea what you are in for, its alot of work to do it right, but worth it if you intend on keeping it forever,

more than likely bearings cause low oil pressure, oil pressure will always rise under acceleration.

try changing the oil and see if it helps. You can also use lucas oil stabilizer which helps raise oil pressure, amongst other things.

alright so i cut my sheet metal today and did that turn out to look like xxxx then tryed to weld and that turned out worse than the floor so welding is not a option going to have to pop rivet it in

dont give up so fast. your not just gona be able to turn on a welder and be good at it. give it some practice if you allready got access to a welder i wouldnt pop rivet everything.
