My 1989 Skunk
My 1989 4dr Cherokee
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...1023001730.jpg Put some wide angle fog lights on the hood for side view during night wheeling. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...point-view.jpg Testing flex with the jenky suspension some one put on this jeep. 8" lift front/rear. Front 4"springs doubled 2"coil spacers. Rear welded 4" blocks to axle and springs/shackle combo. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...8-lift-35s.jpg Climbs well though so vacuum axle works. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...y-you-look.jpg Made some mud flaps from one semi truck flap. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...s-35s-well.jpg Rear seat backing was broken so in went the subi brat seats. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...ap-handles.jpg Lemme know what you think. I bought it for 500 with lift and body the way it was. I'm doing a Jeep rebuild instead of a build this time cause of the cheapness for the jeep. Will try to take more pics of rebuild. |
those 4" blocks would scare me a little while driving that

|
No please no ply wood it was going so good.
|
Im gunna do that to my XJ! chop the top that is.... minus the plywood
I'd say you gotta good deal on the rig though... |
dude i love it, its going great i just wish u didnt chop it ugh but it looks good though i like it so far! How you do the truck flaps?????:2guns::boxing:
|
why mud flaps?
|
yeah i dont like the plywood either i'm gonna do soft top when wallet is more full. sheet of plywood and piece of plexi glass was 30 bucks as opposed to like 150+ for soft top.
Mud flaps=no sheriffs bugging me about flying rocks and giving me tickets(almost happened). took a dump truck trailer flap cut it in half and mounted it to rear bumper. took 25min and works like a charm. |
im glad tennesseans dont have to really worry about the pokie
