Picked up a new family project hope to get started on it as soon as its back from collison shop. This happened five hours after we picked it up. A kid in an H2 side swipped us at 70mph on the freeway. My wife saved it after being sent into a 360. Was quite a ride, luckly is was just us and the kids were at home. Its a 2004, 4.0, auto, select-trac. Should be a good canidiate for a DD/ lite trail, camping rig. Plans are budget boost, 265/75 duratracs, and discos for the frt.

I've been looking for info on the wheels that came on it. My guess is base model JK wheels. They are 16" steelies with jeep center caps. Any ideas? Ive seen something similar on police vehicals and DNR rigs. Some have guessed liberty, but I thought they had a different bolt pattern. Anyway just passing time till I get it back from shop.

Finally got it back last Wed. Total bill for repair was $5894.78. It looks and drives better than it did when I picked it up before accident. After the new year I'll start throwing parts on it to make it more trail worthy.

Adding an RE bb with shocks. Should bee ordered by the end of the month. Looking for some aluminium stockers. The five star kind that came on these or may even consider newer Rubi wheels. PM me with any info.

Still have yet to start this project but may become test bed for bumpers, sliders and a rack. A chipmunk made a mess of the electrical system last Oct. and have been chasing issues with it ever since. I swear this WJ was not meant for me to keep. If the XJ keeps going down hill though it may also become its replacement.
