I bought my 01 xj about 2 years ago and started working on it within a month of having it. It had about 77k and looked like it just rolled off the show room floor.
First thing I did was change out the radio and put a 7inch folding touch screen and an 18inch Fi SSB sub with a 1200 watt amp.
I also put in a cage so no one will get hit with tools or stick their hands between the sub and other loose boxes
Put in a dyno max exhaust that lasted about 3 months til it got ripped off by a rock and I hade to cut the muffler and the bent pipe out from between my axle and frame.
I don't have many pictures from the last 2 years of building it thanks to 6 inches of water INSIDE the truck and my phone falling off my lap.
I put a 4.5 RC lift in with 33x12.5x15 with craiger steelies. Upgraded the tie rod with a ruggid ridge set up.... twice. Aparently there not made for lifts bigger then 4 inches with out modifications or you will pull your tie rod ends off. Now im running a currie tie rod from quadratec and had no problems so far.
RC control arm relocation bracket. To lower the angle and push the axle foward an inch

Got a snorkel off ebay for $150 wasn't that bad but it didn't come with instructions
I also got tired of getting sprayed with mud and water from my tires since I don't have any fenders so I went to home depot and bought some garden edge and screwed it into the bent tabs of the quarter panel. Its not the best looking thing but it works and its flexible. It also cost me only $14
Since my windows are tinted its sometimes hard to see when im backing up so I wired another 2 lights on the side of my hitch that go on when the trucks in reverse. All other auxiliary lights are on switches.

Yea I was pretty lucky to find that the kid had it sitting around his yard. I mean its nothing special there's only one cross bar in the center of the rack so I can't put anything in it once it warms up im going to add some more bars and put my spare up there if I don't have a tire carrier bumper by then

Just got my smittybilt xrc10 today and just finished installing it. Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Took me about 3 hours with distractions. Got a cover got it also but i have no idea how it goes on, you think putting a cover on would be simple haha.
Now just waiting on rocksliders, windshield visor, and new speaker mounts for the front.
