Ok so going to try this again, finally got a base plan for the xj which I've apparently had stock for 2 years now which is a record for me.

The short term:
3"rc lift with new leaf springs and better shocks
Slightly larger tires (still deciding on what exactly)
Cold air intake or snorkel
Red and blue accent pieces (colors of money)
Exhaust
Bored throttle body
Injector upgrade
I'm sure I'm forgetting something

Long term:
Bored and stroked block
Possible turbo
Anything else I think of after lol

Anyone has any suggestions on how to get some of the items in the list cheap let me know (cheap price not quality)
more pics will be included in later posts, this is how it sits as of last wash

That's not a half bad lookin XJ you got there. It looks like it has quite a sizable dent on the door there, how did that happen? If you want to get parts on the cheap go to your local junk yard. S10 leaf springs can give you some lift, and ZJ coil springs also give lift over stock XJ springs.

Oh, well you gotta do what you gotta do. You could probably just pop that out with a rubber mallet if you take off the door panel.

I'm more worried about the hole in passengers fender but yeah I'm sure if I really wanted I could pop that dent out

Just ordered a bored tb from thexjfiles once I get the rest of my pieces ordered shipped and received I'm tackling the hg and upgrading what I get. The upgrades will be as follows: bored 60mm tb, 99+ intake manifold, ford yellow top injectors, header with 2.125" collector, cowl intake. Hopefully have it done by september, hg isn't shot just doing it before it does blow on me.

Next upgrade after I do the hg and related items I think is gonna be an ignition upgrade, looking at a screaming demon coil better cap and rotor bigger wires and ignition box and an upgrade to the fuel pump resistor on the passengers fender.

Got a 99 intake with the power steering bracket and a set of ford blue stick injectors, 2 more paychecks and I should be ready for the install.

Looks like I need to speed things up with the build, emissions test needs to be done before I can renew my registration, that needs to be done before october 26, items I still need are; exhaust header, head gasket, valve seals, catalytic converter, muffler, tailpipe, and brakes all around. Then after all that I'm gonna need new shocks, going with the rancho rs5000 series since those are only a few $$$ more than the monroe sensatrac. Possibly trying to get sway bar bushings and end links before winter. As long as I have full working brakes I'll be fine until next spring without all the rest.

Apn header came in today, only thing it needs is some paint maybe wrap it first then paint it to lower underhood temps a bit. Just waiting on a highflow cat to come in then next week I'm ordering the head gasket and valve seals, then the real fun starts.

Intake, header, injectors(sitting where they go in the intake), ps bracket, and the high flow cat all waiting to go on but its not time yet still need the head gasket and the header needs to be painted along with the intake. Gonna do the header high heat flat red and the intake probably flat aluminum or a steel metallic. Should look nice when its on either way.
