I'm still in debate on whether to add no lift shackle relocation brackets to the rear to level things out or go with the Metal Cloak 5.5 TJ Coils.

Originally I planned to run the 4.5" Metal Cloak coils and the no lift shackle relocation brackets with the intent to run Notch customs flares. My dillemma is I'm heavily considering just +" More lift and running the stock flares. Will see though I really love the notch flares painted body color.

I hear they are a ***** to install, but installed cleanly they look awesome!

We are pretty much on the same page. I have 3.5" MC coils and was gonna run small spacers, but I'm about to swap them with 4.5" MC coils, and dial in the rear as needed. Either Boostwerks shackles, or I'll add the middle leaf back into my OME 3.5" leafs and see where that has me. I want to be right at 4.5" and run 35's at some point. So trimming and possibly fender flares will all be in the future. Also I'm currently on No-Lift SRB's for the record.

Anyway... carry on! Definitely like what you're doing so I'll be keeping an eye out.

Been working on the upper link for my 3 link. Got all the parts in just matter of time.

Also since I don't have to do emissions i made a change to my exhaust and it gave the jeep a nice deep tone without being too loud. When i get to my flat belly skid though that will all be changed out but for now sounds great.

Got in my order for more body armor with Rustys off-road today. I will be replacing all visible hardware with black bolts to continue the stealth theme.

They finally make a smoked Led 3rd brake light for Xjs! So I got that ordered. Also my Spacers from JKS for the WJ knuckle swap, i bought those as well today.

And last but not least my headliner has been starting to sag. I never liked the lighter color headliner, so I ordered 54" X 4 yards of charcoal colored marine grade vinyl for the headliner, visors, and overhead consol. Really looking forward to doing that. The color matches the padded section of the door panels in both color and texture.

I think I've narrowed down the front steering to Cav-Fab WJ swap heim steering.

And i'll be going with Ruff Stuff DIY Tack bar kit. I won't be ordering those till thanks giving or Xmas. Hoping to get them on sale.

For my rear bumper I've decided on JCR DIY kit. This bumper will be modified for a swing out tire carrier that does not block the rear tail lights.

Here's a few pics from our last campout. I really like the stealthness of the rear quarter armor, get a lot if comments on them. I've noticed some of the black oxide bolts I've bought are showing some signs of rust. So I've found some powdercoated bolts I'm considering replacing with. Just hard decision as it's only a couple that look bad and I think I've got $30 in lock-nuts and bolts

Nice jeep!! I can't believe you got that thing for $500 and then transformed it into what it is now. What did those wheels run you? Got that COG look to it but I like it.

That and I seen all the other Jeeps you built they looked nice when you were done especially that white one even though I'm not a fan of white the combination of what you did to it was awesome. Still go them all or you sold the white one right and bought the gold one?

Thanks, I'm really happy with this jeep. Defiantly my forever jeep. I've built quite a few and had the vision to build this one through what I've learned from building all the others. I wanted it to look almost like if they kept building the Xj for a few more years. Just a more modern look.

The tires do looked pretty stuffed but the front is bumped stopped and the rear just barely tucks them. My fenders are heavily trimmed behind the stock flares as well as the flares are trimmed in the back and the front flares at the bottom have been pulled back closer to the doors almost 3 inches. I do plan on adding another 1" more lift down the road.

I got lucky on rims and found 4 of them awhile back for $220 before I even bought this jeep. They usually go for $350+ in my area.

Tires on the other hand where about $278+ $50 a tire for mount/balance and no questions asked certificate for replacement down to 3/32 for road hazard. I bought 5 tires but only have the 4 rims. Im still on the hunt for a 5th rim for my spare.

On the other jeeps I built. I was pretty proud of those too, you should see the before pics of all those. Not pretty. I'm not a big fan of white either but when I was done it was hard to let it go. Really wanted to keep it. Even the gold one.
All of those jeeps where just ones I bought stock and built then sold to make a profit to build my personal jeep. I'm actually building a green 98 xj right now with 2 inch lift and TJ rubicon wheels painted graphite with metric 31" Goodyear duratracs. I sold it before I even finished it. Actually sold all those jeeps the day I listed them for full price. Been a good side business and fun to boot.

Yea I have looked at all the builds you had previously! At least what you had put up online for all to view. Very nice job and that must be a fun side project/buisness...wouldn't mind doing that myself honestly.

We are not too far from one another I think I'm in Lake Stevens, maybe one day I will see that rig of yours in person. Keep up the good work making me very jealous!

Yeah I haven't posted all them. I wanted to start a thread for just the rigs I flip/sell. It's a lot of fun and cool getting to see people buy them and get excited to make it there own with a good base foundation/look already started.

Oh yeah not to far, quite possible I drive it as much as possible. Lots of parts coming so will be plenty to see in the coming weeks.

Although I miss the Desert Sand XJ (for obvious reasons), I am in love with this one. Looks amazing!

Got my NP231 with SYE installed but before I used IRO clocking jig and clocked my T-case 11° up. I moved it up roughly 2.5".
First put it up t trans where stock holes where at them rotated clockwise to the mark on the jig in between 10-12.5°. Clamped it down then used a .250 drill and drilled in maybe 1/16". Removed jig then drilled through. After drilling through with the .25 I grabbed a .390 drill and went back through all the holes. Finished off with a chamfer tool. I'll post some side views showing how much it tucks up t-case.

Also got the drivers side Rustys Offroad door armor on. Well mostly. I still have two holes to drill on the back door. Hope to get the rocker cover armor on next. You can see the tcase hanging down in the second pic vs the first pic here.

Got my Rustys Rocker cover on the driver side. Still have one bolt on the drivers rear door to fix that was giving me troubles. Real happy with this armor, just need to order black zinc bolts to replace the shiny steel bolts. Can't see in the pics but the rocker armor folds down to the pinch seam and bolts to that as well.

Amazing that I couldn't find hardly any install info or even pics of the door armor or rocker armor.
