Maximus - 2001 Jeep Cherokee
About three months ago I bought this Cherokee, since I bought it I have replaced a few things such as the: - Radiator
- Both front wheel hubs
- Both upper and lower ball joints in the front
- Rear windshield wiper motor
- Battery tray
- Alternator
I want to use this thread as a way to see how far my Jeep has come and share it, maybe also help a few people along the way. I am still relatively new to working on Jeeps but I like to think I am learning fast and I do have a relatively good amount of knowledge.
The Jeep came with a few mods and things done to it such as: - Aftermarket radio
- Rough country front bumper with a light bar and two IPF halogen lights to go on it
- Off road rear bumper
- 2.5 inch lift (Although it is sagging very bad)
- Sway bar disconnects
- Roof rack with full size spare
- Beefier tires
- Few other minor things
It had about 171,000 miles when I bought it and receipts for everything done to it. I started off by doing basic maintenance things and once those were all out of the way I wanted to start upgrading.
