alright guys, it was an ok weekend, got a good bit done until something no to good happened with my gfs family, but here is what i got done till friday, i wasnt able to make a members roof rack but will get it to it asap, not much was done to my jeep and as you know i speak with pics and little words
trimmed my fenders
Built a big roof rack about seven feet long
and had time to build a front bumper friday, it was the coolest bumper ever!!! pics of some of my welds, made out of 1/4 inch 2x4, mounts were made out of 3/8s inch and shackle mounts are half inch built into the mounts, the hoop is a 1.75 inch with a .12 wall, this thing is pure beef
also i overheated that ryobi grinder that i just bought a month or so ago! so a new one was needed
and here is what happened to the drill bits while drilling out the shackle holes

then cut a little more off
startin to look like it should
start to fold up the inside first
the inside is up!
then hammer the outside up
now i decided to weld it up instead of rivets or screws
a nice gap to fillin
keep one of these close
the paint will catch on fire
paint it and admire
the reason for hte cut and fold was so i can build my rear bumper
i finally built my own roof rack too, it attaches at six places to the roof rails
