Does dana 44 rear fit a 09 jeep commander what do i have to do to make it work ?

Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system

There is no regular D44 that will fit. I am not sure we have any specs on the Commander here. How wide is the rear end flange to flange and can you fabricate

the rear i got came off a jeep grand Cherokee str8 they said it bolt up just need to find outif i have to get a new drive shaft

That is the Dana 44A. Might fit, I have not had experience trying that mod. What is in the Comander now?

Dana 44 Aluminums are a whole different animal vs a Dana 44 of a 80’s XJ. Not much aftermarket support.
