Lame update but I changed the diff fluids, lof, rotated the tires, and sprayed some rubber undercoat on the rails and inner fenders:

I'm really torn.. part of me just want to keep it at 3in and go to a 32" tire and just be happy with it..... But i also want to go bigger with a 4.5-5 in lift and run 33s...

If I decide to keep the lift i have now these are my plans:
JCR front bumper
JCR sliders
Rustys tie rod conversion
Rustys trac bar
JKS discos
32" BFG All-terrain
or
32" Falken Wildpeaks

I'm curious about the wildpeaks they have some decent deals on them right now but they look a little bit on the non-aggressive side... but for a daily driver that might be the best option

UPDATE: I blew my motor while driving home from work... how or why it happen is still unkown... only thing that i can think of is a while back i hydro-locked the motor while OR and after that night the motor had a decent knock in it. Im planning on going with an ATK motor, hopefully to be installed in Feb. Im also going to change the motor mounts to brown dog and more than likely update the cooling system as well just not sure how im going to go about that yet

Hey man whats the offset of those wheels? im guessing they are 31x10.5x15 tires?

unidentifiedbomb 04-07-2015 01:37 PM

Nice build so far. I'm assuming you swapped the motor out? Also, though those flares don't mount as high as others such as Napier or just cut and trim jobs, I am sure you can fit 33x10.50s with proper bumpstops.

^^^True, **** most people i've been seeing lately do the 3" and 33s set up(wish i would've over my 31s). Im only at 3.5 and plan on the 40 or higher mark at this height over stock, but I will be doing a ton of fab to get it to work

unidentifiedbomb 04-07-2015 02:17 PM

I'm at 4"s and can fit 33s without trimming, thinking about 35s at 4"s and trimmed fenders won't be hard. It's all about properly setting your shocks and bumpstops.

sadly im still waiting on the motor... ive been driving my daily or my new daily.. one of my friends can get me a very good deal on an ATK motor.. but he is currently out of the country so it looks like I will be waiting another month until it is in.

I plan on doing the JKS 1 in boomerang shackle in the rear and a 1 in spacer in the front and new extended bumpstops. I would like to go to a 33 but i will def need to regear

unidentifiedbomb 04-09-2015 12:23 AM

If you want to go big you gotta pay big haha. Well worth it though.
How have you liked the AT2s by the way? They seem very nice for when I go up since Duratracs sadly don't come in a 35.

PacMan84 04-09-2015 12:47 AM

The AT2s are a decent AT tire... Road: i think they are great not that much road noise... Snow: if its packed snow they they are ok, but when its loose powder not that good... Off Road: i like them overall in the sand and dirt... i dont think ive ever been stuck in anything that i was not able to get out of... I would buy them again but i think my next tire will be the KO2

unidentifiedbomb 04-09-2015 01:25 AM

have you ever aired down as well? helped my duratracs out so much at 16psi in snow/mud, even better when I did the same trails on a dry day at 33psi
