Learning the Jeep way
Well hi I, got my first jeep in Oct of 09 an did,nt know if it was a good thing or not , 1994 XJ with a H.O. 4.0L ,155K on it 3 " lift and a broken transfer case cracked wide open with 17 " stock tires (Think they came off a newer jeep) Any way all for $ 400.00 . got it to my shop and cleaned the NSS and had it running in 15 min. drove around the yard with no transfer case or rear drive shaft in 4x4 .And was hooked . I,ve always had full size pickups and never even thought about any thing else but I got to say I have taken my XJ out to the trails once and had a blast and broke it good ( More on that later ) Worked on it for a bit then broke it but i,m not sad or upset I got another ! a 1996 2 dr. manual for $400.00 and am switching over the lift and reinforcing the towing points . Any way this is all new to me and I will have pictures once I figuar out how to post them.

you need an image host like photobucket to post images.....upload your pics to photobucket then copy the "direct link" url and post them using the image icon when you "reply" to the thread
but i look forward to the build.....i always wanted a fullsize truck cuz all my friends had them, but ended up scoring a cheap '91 for a trail rig and a '96 for a DD and now i've been bitten hard by the cherokee bug

I just save the photos to "My documents", then, when I reply, scroll down to "manage attachments", click browse, go to "my documents", and find the pic/pics.

The 1994 XJ was driven hard and put away wet and muddy so when i got it it was hard too see the floors from under it and no out side water hose at my shop made cleaning it hard so I put that off for later . wish I had nt but again all this is a learning thing for me
