Ordering Cav fab's new alpha 3 link on black friday.

Still rounding up suspension parts. Most likely going to truss the front axle and deciding if I want to build the 8.25 rear or swap it for an 8.8.

In the meantime I ordered some Flush mount LED pods from amazon for the front and rear bumpers. Tinted windows and stock reverse lights are terrible.

The lights are cheap but have tons of good reviews on amazon, we shall see.

The big brown truck dropped off my leafs today. RE 3.5 leafs.
Going to run a +1 or +1.5 shackle with relocation brackets to get me to around 5.5 inches of lift in the rear. If I do the 8.8 swap that adds around an inch as well, so I may not need much lift out of the shackles.

I'm running those same leafs with RE 1" shackles. Initially I gained about 6.25" of lift, after 2 yrs of settling I've got a little over 5".

NP. RE nets way more than advertised. Damn good springs tho. I urban wheel on everything I come across and do trails and moderate rocks a few times a month. They ride a lii stiff, but my shackle angle is far from ideal. Hoping to get some relocaters soon to smooth it out a little.

Thanks! Suspension progress will be slowing for a bit as I accumulate parts. I will be doing other small items and fab projects in the meantime. Lead time on the cav fab 3-link is sometime around the first of next year. Hope to have all my components by then so when I get the 3 link i can install it all.

Thats what I've heard about netting more lift than what they are rated for. Appreciate the feedback, got them for a good deal on amazon. Going with the 5.5 coils from RE up front.

I did the 4.5 RE leafs with RE boomerang shackles...netted around 6.5, but they need to settle yet...also did the 5.5 RE coils up front. Really happy with the ride. Looking forward to seeing the alpha kit...

Not running relo bracks

We're going on the 3rd...haven't nailed down a meetup time or place yet, but it is happening...right now it's looking like my work site, in Hesperia, about 7-8 am...I posted in the regional section under the Goatfest thread, and will post there with a new thread this week with more solid info.

Sounds good, I'm about an hour and a half from Hesperia. Going straight out the 14 towards ridgecrest is faster for me. Could meet up around the 395/178 junction
