The Korza XJ Build
Figured I should post it here so I can get some valuable insight http://forum.calgaryjeep.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif
Heres the rig on day of purchase (April 19th 2014) https://m1.behance.net/rendition/mod...1a4f9da305.jpg and then one after begging my girlfriend (professional detailer) to help clean it up, took a bloody long time! https://m1.behance.net/rendition/mod...3ef955c58c.jpg After installing a 3" coil and add a leaf kit, I also got some wicked nice 31" kumho mud tires, https://m1.behance.net/rendition/mod...5bdee624d6.jpg Noticed the rear was sagging so had to add in new leafs, I thought 3.5" leaf springs would be good, but they're HUUGE! i didnt account for the 1.5" of sagging.. but its turned out, good enough, https://m1.behance.net/rendition/mod...ae19c1c34a.jpg https://m1.behance.net/rendition/mod...26464ae2c7.jpg http://forum.calgaryjeep.com/gallery...14_4_28_11.jpg Next up is to armor it up. Side rails, bumpers, ect. Possibly Chasis stiffeners, but im no welder.. |
Nice and clean!! looks good man, got any future plans for it? Those leafs should settle after after driving and some good wheeling.

Yeah I ordered up a hose to get a cowl intake going (or a snorkel.. still in between the two ideas)
Rock Sliders Front and Rear ORFab Tube Bumpers Swab Bar quick disconnects (sooner than later) Skid Plates Once I get all that installed and purchased, I should be done spending for at least a month or so, or my GF will kick my *** :) |

First off, Beautiful jeep man. How did you fix the rust? Cant tell with the flare on. My jeep had the exact same rust, I ended up just Buying a new quarter panel and cutting the old one off though.

Under the flares there is a ton of metal that has been eaten away from rust. so eventually it will need to be replaced, but this is good a fix till next year. |
Got some more mods up. Got my disconnects and sliders in

Been a while since I've been back. Got a lot of work done on the ol jeep, and have some bumpers on order. Few new things including custom decal, home-made roof rack, sway bar discos, and now I have a big pile of things to do. Installing my rear bumper tomorrow :) front is in the mail

Rad Jeep man! Did you just paint some JKS discos metallic blue? Looks cool. Also, what axles and other equipment does it have? You can always get a build sheet from Chrysler if you're curious.
