Looks killer, man. What was the reason for stripping down the other XJ and putting all the parts on this one?

Well here is the finished (minus the sliders) doing the concrete staircase at the Blessing of the Jeeps this past weekend.

I made it up, when most rigs were taking the bypass

hey man i am just now putting my 4.5 lift from RC on and they left out some parts. do you know what the pieces are called, they are black and triangular have a large hole on one end and then two smaller wholes on the other end, and 3 oval slits on the flat top/bottom of it. no idea what they are called. also i am missing 2 of the black C clamp pieces and the 4 pieces that go to them (i am looking at the picture not really sure what this stuff is labeled as) also missing one of the two packages of 8 nuts/washers for the big U bolts. any help with names and stuff would make it a bunch easier for me to call RC tomorrow morning appreciate it.

If you got full leafs you may not have gotten them. I didn't with mine.

Hey, we just got the kit installed took us a total of 4 days but everything went in and fit great, took our time and got it done. maybe a total of 20-24 hours to do the the thing. i am very impressed with the ride quality of the lift you can not really feel much difference.

thanks for all the help hansov. your build is the reason i went with the RC 4.5. not trying to be a copy cat but i am also leaning towards buying those black rims from summitracing and i want to go with some 33x11.5 dakota MT's from pepboys. again your build has been a huge help.

Well the Jeep gods hate me...

Now my rear frame has rotted out. It happened while hauling a load that was way under the weight, but the damn rust just has done me in... I am really getting sick of frame rust. Now I have to see what I can do about repairing it, or looking for yet again, another XJ...

WHY ME!!! Maybe this time I will buy one from AZ...
