Some MyJeepRocks folks are hitting Cougar Buttes and some new lines this Saturday if you're interested. I think I'm going to be able to make it. ~R |

I've got my rear sway bar sitting in the garage. You can have it if you decide you want to try one. I also have left over 1" square aluminum stock that I used for lifting my hood if you want that too.

not many pics but heres a pic of where its at as of today... http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/z...8/DSC_4217.jpg |
I ended up using a currie sway bar on the front even as much as i hate currie i will say that the sway bar makes a big difference.
it needs little things finished up in it. needs some more wiring, skin the fenders, add a porp valve on it to get rid of the squishy pedal ect. im thinking of selling the rear end and putting a full width 9 inch in the front and run spacers on the front for a little while to make it a little wider. different tires would help too, i want some 37" goodyear mts for it, the 38 inch swamper tsls on it right now are pretty bald and drive like a typical super swamper bias tire. I need a dana 44 pinion yoke for the front so if you have one to get rid of pm me |
I am watching this one. Keep us updated!

well last night i hit a rear shock on a boulder and bent the shaft then it tried to compress and broke the lower mount.
the front shocks are too long for the front so i am going to put the front shocks on the rear for now and get a decent pair of shocks for the front end. I am selling the rear axle after halloween to buy a ford 9 inch. so ill sell the 8.8 or trade for a ford 9 with a detroit locker:thumbsup: going to calico for halloween, should be a good time |
got my junk together and wheeled it at calico for halloween.
tried gatekeeper but out of all things the starter went out when i had to shut it off after the passenger rear coil un seated. owell at least its a cheap fix since i have a spare starter, i did manage to put it on its side two times on saturday http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/z...8/DSC_4262.jpg http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/z...8/DSC_4248.jpg |
very cool man! Looks like your doing good with it. Keep it up.

Starter
Thats funny, my starter just went out on Sunday, i had to change the dang thing in the Safeway parking lot. Conveniently there was an Auto-zone 1 block away. Great build, have you thought about adding a roof rack?
