And we have bump stops. Last week I was moving my stuff from ATL to NC and was weighed down pretty good. Kept rubbing. This is a partial fix, I think a trim is in order too.

You see nothing!
Haha, I knew someone would say something about that. It's staying on for the short-term. I'm going to be pulling a couple of trailer loads from Atl to NC and I want the stability on the freeway. As soon as we're all moved it's gone!

Ordered a JCR Vanguard rear bumper today! Stoked about this, can't wait.
Also had the drivers window cable/spring break so I threw a new one in that I ordered off Amazon.
So far works great, although it's a little slow compared to stock.

Last night I got the jcr rear hooked up. I painted it a "cast iron" color which looks like pig vomit. I should have trusted my instincts and went with something charcoal. At least it's got a couple of good base coats on...
The spindle bracket for the tire carrier (I installed it anyway) was a *****. Mainly because the directions sucked. I'll make a how-to in a few weeks when the bumper comes back off for paint. I almost left it off but decided to use it in case I get some extra coin and spring for the carrier. Plus it's an extra attachment point for the bumper.
The bumper has a nice step for getting up to the rear roof rack (spring project) BUT it's going to be super slick when raining or muddy so I think I might install some grip material. Either stair grip tape or this:

The rear LED lights will go in after I repaint and I'm thinking about welding on an integrated bottle opener or cut-out. I also bought an IRO front recovery system which will go on sometime in the next few weeks.

Thanks, yours is looking pretty clean too!
I decided not to put the stock bumper cover back on and ordered a set of rear armor from JCR to cover that area back.
Santa was kind this year and got me a Hi-Lift jack (in matching red!) and a 400W Cobra inverter. I'm going to install the inverter in the rear with a recessed plate for the plugs/jacks. I also got some heated seating elements of ebay. Can't wait to warm my bum.
Also planning a trip to Uwharrie in the spring so some recovery gear is in order.
More pics to follow!

Got busy this last week. Installed a Four X Doctor rear diff skid
Did a brake job up front, rear ZJ and stainless lines to follow.
Repainted the rear bumper and added JCR lower quarter panel armor. Really digging this set up. Looks great and I love the new color compared to that greenish iron color I had prior.
also got some temporary front recovery in until I get a front bumper. This is the IRO front brace and hooks. I also dropped in their steering spacer. Amazingly my aluminum spacer came out in one piece, how is this even possible?
In a few hours I'm finally going to hook up my Hayden tranny cooler that's been sitting in my grill for a year without being hooked up...

Since I seem to be on the every 6mo update plan...I got a bumper! I picked up a JCR Front Winch Bumper that I painted to match the rear bumper. I also picked up a pair of their LED tail lights that I am in process of wiring. It might be a few weeks before those get put on. Enough chatting, onto the pics!

Looking good! I like the rear hatch light idea! Kinda been thinking of something like that myself. Care to go into a few of the details on how you did it? and what light and switch did you use?

I work for a LED Manufacturer and took one of our fixtures and mounted it there. I used an external rocker switch to control it. I've been meaning to put together a kit as a bunch of guys here and on other forums have commented on it.

Not only would I love a write up but if you started offering kits, (or even listed model numbers) I would jump on that! After looking at all the different LEDS and how much they cost knowing I was getting the right one that would work would be a huge bonus! Pretty sure a bunch of us would all pitch in on that one!
