Really like those led's in the gate. Stealing that idea, gonna make it my own though. Won't be getting any of those high dollar strips. Thinking walmart for mine.

Thanks, let me know if you need any help with it. I've used them camping a few times and having the light back there is awesome. Here's another shot.
Did the heater core/evaporator thing 2 weeks ago, major frigging PITA! But it's done, now I just need to flush it and hook the core back up. Didn't want to run that nastiness back through a new core. I also hooked up one of those Prestone flush kits but I don't think I'll keep it there permanently, heard too many stories of them breaking down.
I also ran some grommets and extra wire in case I bring a switch back through the fire wall.
And glued back up the headliner temporarily until I buy the proper fabric.
Then it was camping time, did some skeet shooting and hiking with the dogs.

Since I seem to do NO work on the jeep and have a full day of doing 10 different things, today was no different.
-New Water Pump
-Oil Filter adapter o-rings (PITA!!!)
-New Drive belt
-New AC Compressor
-Oil Change
-Coolant Flush
All in all took about 7 hours but there are no leaks and everything works great. In a couple weeks I'll finally be adding the lift kit, 2.5" of OME goodness!

Nice dude! I went down to uwharrie today with the triad jeep club and had a hell of a time. I highly recommend catching one of their runs when you get that lift on. And holler if you need help with it by the way.

Nice work on the lights. I have family in High Point I use to live there but I ended up moving to Fl after I graduated. I might be looking for jobs up in that area and id like to make a trip out to uwharrie one day. I dont mean to hijack your build but where do you go kayaking ?

Thanks, I nabbed those lighting parts from our "spares" bin (I work for a lighting company).
Up here I've only been on Oak Hollow and Townsend lakes, and in the pamlico sound on the outer banks. I used to live in Georgia and used to do the Chattahoochee and Lake Lanier all the time.
Headliner came in yesterday too so that'll be done next weekend. Might as well add the switches to the center console for the Hellas too.

Damn, looks like i still have a small oil drip. Only the oil pan and rear main are left, next oil change...it is much less than before so I'm sure that brittle o-ring in the filter adapter wasn't doing me any favors.

As many have said, the internal o-rings looked fine but I replaced them anyway. The larger outer o-ring was fairly brittle. I used the method others here have used by removing that T60 Torx bolt with the set of "L" wrenches (like torx allen keys) and removing the starter cable. I didn't think it was worth the time to remove the starter or jack up the engine so I just wrenched it a little at a time. I used a 16" long piece of 3/4" electrical conduit that was slid over the T60 wrench as a mock breaker bar. Breaking the seal was pretty easy but that torx bolt doesn't have anything to grab so I had to continue unscrewing it with the wrench...time consuming.
I'll wait until my next oil change before tackling the rear main and oil pan gasket. The drip is a lot smaller (about the size of a nickel) Our neighborhood hounds us to keep the driveways clean (I will never live in an HOA community again...) so it needs to be handled.
BTW. I also installed some Polk 6.5's in the rear soundbar so I've got full sound now, only to find out the drivers door wire must be severed somewhere as it's not working any more...it. never. ends.

Ok, so I'm a few weeks away from installing my lift (2" OME full kit, likely to increase to 3" before I'm done) and I need some tires.
I was thinking of keeping the stock wheels and using 31x10.5 BFG All terrains as this is more of a DD than a rig. Any thoughts on the wheel size with this lift? or recommendations?

Good tire choice, I kept my stock wheels with 3" and 31s and did fine. If you want more of a stanced look and probably less rubbing (if there is any at all) you could either shoot for wheel spacers or some black steelies with more offset .
