Jeep Rebuild? The "Silent Cherokee"

Im getting a little tired of all the road noise, rattles, shock bumps, etc. So, Im engaging in a small project. Pictures will be updated accordingly.

Sound Deadening a Cherokee. (My DD/Garage Queen)

What I will be using:
5 Rolls(9"x75') of 60 Mil Butyl Rubber Flashing Tape
6 Cans of Duplicolor Professional Undercoating
License Plate Silencer
And a Un-Released Headliner Insulation Given to me to "test" by a well known SPL competitor.

I am interested in this!

we used Second Skin products and did one of my friends jeep in High school. 3 layers on the floorboards, sides, ceiling, doors and hatch.

I recommend getting new window seals because thats where they typically leak wind noise at speed. New seals solved that issue. It is holding up well and is quiet as can be. It is ridiculous.

products we used were:

Damplifier Pro as the base layer thru the jeep
Luxary Liner Pro as the second layer thru the entire jeep
Overkill Pro as the 3rd layer and was placed on the back of all interior plastics, door panels, and headliner.

I used Dynamat in my other xj, I just cant justify the price though. Butyl Rubber Flashing tape is the same thing, but costs about 11 cents a square foot. Three layers of it is as thick as Dynamat, but instead of a couple bucks a foot, its 33 cents a foot.

Window seals were ordered this morning, should be at the shop by this weekend.

I drove my girlfriends aero all weekend, got used to it, and than got in my jeep, its loud.

Starting from the back, got rear quarter panels done, and wheel wells covered. Also did a little on the inside of the plastic trim. Also started another layer of flashing tape on top of the first(flashing tape) and second(sound deadener spray) layer. And I apologize for the second picture, it doesnt want to upload right.
