Jeep #5, Comanche Project / Restoration

Well I've gone through a few jeeps and learned some things along the way. Always drooled over a well built comanche and bit the nail and bought one (2 of them in a package deal). Started with a 88 factory 4x4 long bed manual i6. Over all in decent shape little rust spots (holes) but only 117K on the clock. Scrolling through lift options I figured I'd go SOA in the rear and swap cherokee axles in it. 29 spline 8.25 and an hp30 front.

Put a 10" slim sub in with 6.5s in the doors and 6x9s in the back. More than enough for me.

Lookin' good. Love the newer front header/grill.
Would the fenders for the same yr fit better with the front.
Still, great lookin' rig. nicely done.

Thank you man. And yes newer fenders would have fit nicer I just spent too much on it as it is but if I find some down the road I can always swap them out and repaint them to match.

Where are you located? I check craigslist daily and there's a bunch on the east coast from Richmond to PA. You also gotta work the guys down on the asking price but definitely some deals. When I bought this truck it came with a 1991 2Wd Comanche that was 99% rust free that I sold for $1,200. Guess it just depends what affordable is to you
