You need to be commended for that welding lol.

I've always been a fan of XJ's built for speed, looks great.

Is that just a toy or do you plan on racing Jeepspeed or anything?

I wasn't gonna say anything about that just cuz' the welding/fabwork was incredible. :cool2: I was like, "My MT/R's don't look like that! :001_huh: "

Thanks for all the compliments guys. We built the Cherokee to be Jeepspeed legal, but I only plan on playing with it for now. We actually built the thing in 4 days so we could go out to a desert race.

I'm pretty sure I have a cracked head so I have it parked for now. I'm hoping to have a stroker in it by new year's eve.

The tires are the new Goodyear MTR's and they actually aren't on backwords. They are not directional, and you have to put them on like that to keep the white sidewalls in.

Don't quote me on this but, I think it was offroad magazine that did a test and determined they were unstable at high speed when pointing all the tread in the same direction.

TonyB 11-02-2010 07:48 PM

They're not directional, but they do have a stamping that says "THIS SIDE OUT" or something of that nature. I'm sure it's of little concern or even a big deal in the long run. You're whole damn rig is just bad ***. ;)
