indirocz28's XJ Build
11 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,
My name is Jeff, and I am pretty new to the forum. I bought my 1998 Jeep Xj sport back in July, bone stock from the original owner. Its begun its trail transformation and is doing pretty well I think. Each time I take it out I am more impressed with it. Anyway, I went wheeling with a few members of the Bryan/ College Station area this past Sunday at BVORR and had a blast for the few hours we got to wheel. I hope to see more of the park next time. Special thanks to the guys at BVORR for letting us wheel for free our first time out there. I can't stress enough how much of a difference that makes. Also want to thank them for the space that they open up to the public for local wheelers to come and enjoy during their meetings. Day I picked it up, 268,000 miles on her One owner. Attachment 355855 Day after I bought it and put new tires on it- painted stock rims black since old silver was flaking off Attachment 355856 First trail experiences with it Attachment 355857 Attachment 355858 Then came the Rough Country 3" lift kit and 32x 11.50R15 tires Attachment 355859 Attachment 355860 Attachment 355861 Attachment 355862 Had some rubbing issues, and decided that I will go with larger tires in the future, so I did some body modification Attachment 355863 After that, my bumpers finally came in, so I put them on Attachment 355864 Attachment 355865 Also have RC stainless steel brake lines, sway bar disconnects, and adjustable track bar & bracket installed. Coming soon- another 3 inches, dropped pitman arm, hopefully a rear locker and some adjustable arms for the front axle. Largest tire size I am planning to go is 33" tall. Thanks! Jeff |
