Talking IM NEW: My "new" 1989 Jeep XJ Almost Built project (FIRST JEEEP)

This is my new and first Jeep, A 1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ with around 8 inches of lift. The lift started out as Rubicon Express's 5.5 inch long arm kit. Next to another jeep in town with a six inch lift it makes The other one look pretty small. Tell me what you think about how it looks, what I should do, any recommendations or anything. Just let me know what you think. The tires are 32x10.5 inch and 16 inch 5 spoke jeep wheels. I really like how it looks. Anyway thanks!!
-Erik

Sorry about the lighting and the bad pictures, its really dirty too. The pictures make it look smaller than it is too. I did not have much space to take pictures from a distance. anyway, I will upload some better pics later. BTW I already Know my sway bar is disconnected, I had just gotten back from wheelin when I took the pictures. I wish I had the camera WELL I was wheeling though!!!

The orignal wheels and tires today after I took them off. They are 15x7s!!! lol.

Default OH YAH!!!

Oh yah, I left out I only paid 2000 for the jeep with the lift and original tires. I paid 250 for the 32s on the wrong size rims, bought a brand new high lift jack that was never used from a guy in town for $50 and then bought the wheels you see on it today and got them mounted on the tires and everything for 200 bucks.

I wish I had the money!!! haha.... No, in all seriousness I was thinking something like some 36s or something like that... I just dont know how well it would hold up to that... ??? any ideas how big I could go??? I dont wheel TOO much because it is still my DD, I wont travel very far in it. hour and a half maybe. Dont get me wrong, I do wheel it. I need to get some bumpers fabbed up, and an exo cage first. My friend has a samurai and he got rock sliders, bumpers, and a full exo built and put on his samurai in about a week for 700 bucks. The guy said he will do mine too.

If you like the way it is thats all that matters. But since you asked I would put some 35's on it, different axles, a front bumper with a winch. That should be a good start.

Whoa wow. Sorry my mistake. I said long arm kit. All I know is the specs that the dude listed and what it looks like to me. I thought maybe they were long because I did not know what normal ones look like but they def are not. I am positive it is around 8 inches of lift though. It is HUGE in real life. My bad.

I have been around jeeps for awhile, and have some buddies with jeeps, one guy, like i said, has a 4 door cherokee with the 6.5 inch RC lift... He has the same size tires as me, but his jeep sits a GOOD two inches shorter than mine. His rims have much better backspacing and stuff than mine though and he is locked up, and has bumpers... but yah. that is what I am estamating the lift is at is AROUND 8 inches. I dont know, maybe I am wrong, but I am pretty sure I am in the ball park. also, the springs are the 5.5 inch coil springs from RE and the front end has about 2 inch spacers with the springs... 5.5 plus two is 7.5... so about 8 inches. and the rear spring packs are the 5.5 inch spring packs with about a 1 inch block... or less. so yah... there is where i get my numbers.... anyway... now to upload some wheeling pics!!! from today!!!
