I am new with jeeps
Any cool mods I can do that are inexpensive?

you could always trim your fenders it will make the jeep look a little taller and its free if you have a grinder with a cutting wheel

Budget boost. Coils spacer and leaf spacer. On top of trimmed fenders.

It all depends on what you call 'inexpensive.'

Do yourself a favor, if you plan to get serious about off roading, pull all your drain plugs.

Oh, and make sure you are up to date on all maint. If you don't, you won't be worried about inexpensive mods, you'll be worried about expensives fixes.

i agree with Gee oh Dee on that rustys has a bb for around 100 plus shipping and some trimming you could fit a 30 all day maybe a 31 but i would change all your fluids before you go out wheeling and do a tune up spark plugs wires etc... it will save you big time headaches in the future

I just wish she was a 4x4

this thread will help you with cheap junkyard mods

i say go with an IRO 2" BB with 2" coil spacers and 2.5" AAL i got mine for like $110 shipped

and start collecting parts for your 4x4 conversion ('97-'99 HP30/C8.25, tranny, t-case, driveshafts, and crossmembers) these things are fairly simple to do a 4x4 swap on because the 2wd and 4x4 share the same suspension components so little fab is required
