Hey guys, my names Robert. Some of you guys might know me or seen me around the site, but I think it's about time for a build thread. I haven't done much yet but I have big plans.

I started with a 2000 sport, 17x,xxx miles, D30 / C8.25 axles, Black and with acid rain damage.

In Highschool I started to strip the roof and hood, but then halfway through my senior year the school canceled the autobody class so I never got to finnish the painting that's why I have a primer hood and roof.

Blah, blah, blah, blah.
A 4.5" aal Rough Country lift kit and 31" Mastercrafts later here I was.

I'm so stoked to buy the other 2. This thing is looking beastly.

I just don't know what I'm going to do with the fluid bottle in the front fender.

First off sick ! second why not replace your washer fluid bottle with a 96 era bottle and place inside??

RGibbs 03-27-2013 12:09 AM

That's my plan but I don't know where to put it. Ha.

Why are you going to trim that much? You have to go a decent way up to hit the bottle..

Your cut and fold looks good!

RGibbs 03-27-2013 12:38 AM

I just don't know how much I'm going to have to cut yet and the bottle sits right where the stock flare peaks.

And Thanks. I don't remember the name of the tool we used, but its like a miniature band saw we use for cutting threaded rod.

Did you cut and fold or just cut it all off?

Well, your for sure not going to need to trim up to the bottle I can tell you that. There is alot of fender to be trimmed under those flares. I'm no where near the bottle on my trim. I used an air saw/sawzall/cut off wheel/die grinder to do mine.

Should I cut and fold the front or just cut?

Just cut it. Folding isn't necessary on the front.

X2.

You only need to fold the rear Becsuse it's punch welded. On the front you can just cut however you like
