And my speedo is slow by like 7mph at 45mph so I have to go like "38" plus with my lift and shocks it's super smooth so I don't feel like I'm going all that fast lol me and my girlfriend were racing down the road "chevy Silverado V6 4.3" and I actually won surprisingly but I thought we only got up to maybe 75mph and apparently we were doing 90 soooo mines good and jacked up

 

Nice build so far also a highschooler with a 99 xj but 3in and 33s and my Speedo is off by about 6mph at 60 and 7 at 70 and so on and so on.

that's how far mine was off of not a little more.... Don't know why because I'm only running 31s...

 

Mine old tires are bald so they measure out to about 31 I'll have to re check when I get the new fronts in.. the new backs are already on.

 

Anyone know if a light bar will fit between the cross bars of the factory roof rack and the roof?

 

Depends on the size of light bar. My 50'' is just slightly shorter than the width of the roof

where did you put the LEDs in the grill i thought about doing the same but dont know where to put them to get a good glow like yours.

 

it should fit on the cross bar. Mines just drilled into my roof, I wanted it as close to the roof as possible.

 

I wanted to try and hang it off the bottom of the cross bar so it doesn't stick up but I don't have to put holes in my roof... At least that's the hope

 

I just put them on the radiator crossmember facing down I used 3528 leds, but if you wanted brighter you can use 5050. It's wasn't too hard. Just pop the grill out and mount them as flat as you can on the crossmember facing down. If you want me to I can take a picture of where they're mounted tomorrow afterschool.

 

Got the new reverse light...bar on. People will know when I'm in reverse now hehe.

 

Just poppin by to see the build saw ya might be looking for a 20" led bar I have a nice one if your interested I wanna go 40" on my roof rack I'm building now instead of the 20". Lmk if you'd be interested!

 

thanks for the offer! But I already had one and was trying to do something with it now I have a 20 on the front and back. Maybe going to put the rear one in the bumper instead of on the rack.... We'll see.
