Well it's no longer highschool, now into college just haven't changed the name also, pm me an offer. Not really sure what they're worth to someone.

[quote=SatiricalHen]So here's the list of things to be done.
-seals on the transfercase (probably next since the new holes are drilled and it'll be something to check off the list)
-rtv around the air bulkhead on the front diff
-finish cutting control arm mounts off for 3 link (almost there now)
-alignment
-figure out if the rear diff leaks or just covered in every other fluid leaking
- replace track bar
-put in 4.5" coils
-put in bumpstops
-put in bilsteins
-adjust rear shackle angle
-figure out where the engine is leaking oil from (I know cruiser start from the top and go down)
-make money to continue working on this money pit
-find more problems while fixing all the other problems.
Waiting for the links before I do all the suspension stuff, and hopefully will have everything else ready by then.

Got the transfercase sealed and back in, clocked up. Got the new crossmember for the 3 link in, just need to remove on more lower control arm mount, and put all the suspension in that's waiting on the links.

Nice! Sounds like some good progress to me. How close is the t-case to the body now? I know mine only has like a 1/2" gap and rubs the body if I dump the clutch too fast.

Well I put a boostwerks shifter linkage in, now I can shift the transfercase while inside the jeep. Also, out in the rear driveshaft. Once the links come in the shocks, coils, front driveshaft and track bar can go in. Also in other news I may have wrecked the ninja slightly.

I read about the bike in another thread. What did you do!? Drop it or have it slide out while riding? Not good anyway. Hopefully since you will be getting the rest of the 3 link soon, that should help get your mind off the bike.

Slide out while riding with some guys, really didn't do too much to the bike, but every little part is so expensive. Barely a scratch on the plastics, but it cracked a little piece at the tail, broke the mirror and bent the shifter. I just bent the shifter back and called it good because I don't want to spend $40 on one. Mirror was like $30, the rear plastic I can't find without a whole kit which is like $2-300, broke a tiny clip on my helmet visor so it won't stay on it flaps in the wind and a new visor is $40 for my helmet. It's just crazy what little things cost. I mean the bike was only $3500 itself.

Well I shouldn't be allowed to online shop when I'm tired and bored. I made another impulse buy for the jeep. Highschool budget 1999 xj build-photo734.jpg should I just shoot it black with some paint I have or should I be fancy and do the background one color and the spider another? If the latter, any suggestions?

Well the shop wouldn't align it and another made up some bs excuse about the tie rods being bound up and stuff which I know they aren't at ride height at least, the axle is too far forward to put the sway bar on, and the spring hits the trackbar mount on the drivers side. Also a result of the axle being pushed forward I believe. But here's some flex shots I got for ya'llHighschool budget 1999 xj build-photo356.jpgHighschool budget 1999 xj build-photo438.jpgHighschool budget 1999 xj build-photo586.jpg and one with both jeeps together.

Parents are making me buy all new steering before I can drive it again because some guy who is so smart said that the adjuster sleeve was too bound up to adjust the steering since the tie rod ends were bound up. He said he bent a 1/2" wrench trying to turn the adjuster sleeve. Well I had my jeep on jackstands from the frame high enough to drop the axle all the way to the ground and put in 4.5" coils uncompressed with the steering in. Wasn't bound up then so I don't know how it's bound up at ride height? So I said well if they won't adjust it I want to get it at least better just for the heck of it. I took my 15mm loosened the clamps and turned the adjuster sleeve by hand.
