mine looked okay still but it definitely let the trans move around when under stress. But I'm not easy on my jeep. I tow a trailer almost daily, drive like a bat out of hell, and beat it offroad.

Well there's two bolts that go from transmission mount to transmission, the passenger side seems to be coming loose or something? I had it all the way tightened down when I did it, then I checked the mount yesterday just to look and make sure everything was right because whenever I do stuff I double check myself. Well it was loose yesterday So I rolled under the jeep and tightened it back up, well today I checked again and sure enough it's loose again. Any suggestions?

Have you been torqueing the bolts down? try around 80-81 Lbs. If that doesn't work then try loctite.

used lock tight and I tightened them down pretty tight, not as tight as lug nuts but as tight as I could in an awkward position.

I think I figured it out. When tightening it down before, it was dark and cold and I was rushing, so I think I tightened it down pretty tight, and I checked to make sure I couldn't slide my finger nail between the head of the bolt and the mount, well I think the weight of the exhaust on the mount made me think it was right then when I put it all back together and sat the weight of the transmission back on the mount, the gap showed itself. That's what I'm hoping at least. I tightened it up today and pushed up on the mount before putting the crossmember back and I know for sure it's tight today so if it's loose tomorrow then I guess I'm tearing it apart again. Good news is I can get it all off and back on in like 20 minutes now haha

Been busy with my other projects and kinda only doing what's necessary to the jeep right now. The main thing taking up my time right now is this mower

Been trying to get it up and running, but I think it's just going to need a new engine. Got a few vertical shaft engines laying around, problem is it's a horizontal shaft engine. Not sure what to do at this point.

more like tow mower for my offroad mower when it gets stuck and breaks. But right now it's not going anywhere because I haven't gotten the engine running and it's not looking like I will be able to.

Anyone know if there's an aftermarket catalytic converter that is smaller in diameter than the factory one but won't throw a code? My exhaust is now tucked too high since I did my trans mount and took of my tcase drop, and I don't want to rip my exhaust off again...
