So what does mounting the sub that way do? Also I feel the struggle, im working on a College budget which is surprisingly smaller than my high school budget lol. Anyways keep up the work, and how much was that solid diff cover?

better cooling, can use a smaller box, and if you build a box you don't need to put one of those weak plastic terminal cups in because the wires are on the outside.

Put in zj steering, ordered brown dog rubber motor mounts, and got a rubber transmission mount. Good day!

Installed rubber brown dog motor mounts and oem rubber transmission mount. A lot more vibration, but feels better taking off from a red light, better shifting, faster starting, and feels like a race car. Definitely well worth it. And if you get some there's a Cherokee forum discount!

if you don't buy through bolts make sure to get washers because the instructions say to use them, but by the time I read them I had already taken my jeep apart and didn't have another ride so I just did it without the washers and guesstimated. Really great quality

Thanks for the heads up. I'm planning on replacing mine while the current ones are still in decent shape.

mine weren't as bad as some I've seen but they've definitely had better days. And the trans mount was really bad and was letting the trans knock the tunnel when the wheels hopped.

came with the type r, and I didn't have the box strapped to the floor always and I hit the brakes and the sub went through the bottom of the back seat when I had it folded down, and rolled around in the trunk some so I'm sure that didn't help the holes any.

Talking about type r subs... I have one I tried to fix I need to test and see if it worked or not... The cone came off the voice coils. I need to get rid of the fi subwoofer I have. So many things to do.

Same with mine. They still have a good amount of life left on them. and the tranny is still solid on its mount.

don't see the purpose of blue just illegal, and I got tired of all the wires and the lights always breaking. I just have a tie down holding my box down 24/7 because I don't always have time to prepare before offroad and the two times I really jarred it loose I wasn't even offroad.
