Hey everyone, I am new to the forum. I have been lingering around checking out some of the builds and knew I needed an XJ so i decided to get an xj as my very first vehicle (well i bought 2 xjs):guns: a 91 that was modded out with a ton of goodies but with a blown engine so im stripping it down to put on my 96 sport that had some body damage and only had 104k on the engine.

sounds like its going to be a fun project for you!that body damage isnt too bad. the 91 doors should fit and so should the hood!

just wondering, y did u put rhino liner on the outside?

I bought the 91 with the rhino liner on it, not really a big fan of it so i decided to just take the goods off of it and put them on the 96, i dont plan on putting rhino liner on the 96 so i will have to find some doors and fender for the 96

i did my brothers xj with rhino liner and it looks 100 times better than that looks like they used the rattle cans ...i used the actuall spray gun ... but you got a good deal

Well just got back from the junk yard and found what i needed, got all of this for $300:icon_mad:

got everything off a 90 and an 89 i think, well thats what the smelly fat guy with a beared told me.

Will have pics up soon of the repair. Hope it all fits together with no problems. But then again it is a Jeep....

Yea, i have no idea why the rhinoliner looks like that, maybe they went for a rugged look with the grey color?

Jeeps look pretty decent. Pretty sweet that your 96 only has 104k on it.

Did u buy a front bumper even though you have that after-market winch bumper? or am I some how mistaking that for a rear?

That is a front bumper, the guy threw it in with the grill for some reason, I just took it just incase somthing tragic would happen. Or i may keep the 91 rhino lined jeep to beat to hell, so i may throw that bumper on the 91.
