Hey guys, so I figured I might as well start a build thread on my XJ. I have had it for about 4 years now and started the build in 2012. I originally bought the Jeep as a DD until the wife gave me the ok to buy a truck and to build the Jeep. I ended up spending $500 for this XJ.

Once I got the ok to start building her up. I ordered a 4.5" RC lift with RC adj. lower short arms and RockKrawler adj. upper control arms, drop pitman arm, used soft 8s, and 31 Goodyear authoritys. Once done took it out for a little test run and to see how things are.

After a few runs I decided to get it painted up and looking a tad better.

I will get some pics up later, but right now I am building another HP Dana 30 with lockrite locker, Dana 44 with aussie, 33s, RE control arm drop brackets (because right now long arms are out of budget), all four half doors, and a 231 with SYE and teralow 4:1 trans case. So far it has been a fun learning experience. This is my first rig that I have built. After this summer I am going to start the bumpers, sliders, cage, and possibly get rid of most of the top. Honestly I really can't wait until it is done.
