after the big fail on my first set of HID projetors, i just said forget it im done with all of this. but before i put the old lights back in my jeep i had looked at a KILLER set up of HID porjetors and fogs. after everything was said and done i told myself id do ONE more set up. but it was one thing after another in my life fired from job's, trying to get though school and now being layed off i gave my self a birthday preasint with these

with time to kill i figured i can do this. no. little did i know i would have NO idea what i was geting myself into. this is going to be the story bord of how i retrofitted thses lights. this will be an ongoing thing if anyone has something to ask or whatever ask away.

the fogs were no big, just had to make up some mounting brackets and put the fogs on.. the wiring was the hardest part. there not alot of room to put anything in the jeep. i also wish some of the relay wiring was longer to. ill make do though, i on to makeing the head lights will see how this goes...

Lookin good man! Fogs are bright as shhh nice work. Dont be surprised if this gets moved to the fabrication section. Just a heads up.

Now I remember you and I talked about you doin a retro for the Bi-xenons... is this them? or did you just stay with the single beam HIDs?
But looks really good, they the same size as the NorCal ones?

DMAXX 11-28-2011 12:07 PM

Hly HID'S lol. If I had that kinda dough id buy those in a heartbeat

this was right on the money of what i needed. and it may seem eazy in the link to make these but its not.

Will yo be selling your fog setup? Or making more & selling them?
They are rediculously bright for being so small. How much did they cost?

hmmmm no, i wont be selling these. there are a few reasons why there super bright.
there a real projetor fog light the beam pattern is super nice. and with the HID'S it makes them even brighter.

you can get them tho..

Dude your just using Blazers? Thats sick! What color are you using? What HID kit?
I know those blazers are bright, we've had them on a few cars and I actually have a pair in my garage currently! They are factory for the C5 vettes and thats how we were turned onto them, saw a vette with bad *** lights at a car show and he said they were factory besides his HID retrofit.

aj6 11-30-2011 08:29 PM

whatttttt? i didnt know theses where C5 based, thats awesome good to know

i got them though the same place. 35w 4300K bulbs and im running a relay on them
they came out really good i love them so far. i would get the ones out of your garage and get them on your jeep!
