how can i do a home made snorke on a 1990 cherokee with a shop vac hose?

Thats a loaded question. You'll really need more than just a shop vac hose, and PVC tubing painted black would be better, and really cheap, too.

It depends on where you run the intake. Out the fender and along the driver's side A pillar? Through the firewall and into the cowl? Into the passanger compartment?

ya ill pvc.. and i wanna do it out of the drivers fender. but how do i hook it up to the air box?

cut a hole in the side of the airbox, fasten the hose and silicone the chit out of it.
don't forget to block the stock air intake hole on the front. again, silicone is your friend.

even better if you can plastic-weld a flange to secure it better.
